You’ve likely spent some time (ok, maybe a lot of time) thinking about your options and talking to friends and neighbors. There are a lot of opinions out there about what a “good school” or “good education” is. The more you research and talk, the bigger this decision feels and then comes the overwhelm.
Here’s where I come in. As your Education Consultant, I guide you and support you on your journey for your child. No two families are the same. Your ideals, priorities and needs are likely different from that of every friend and neighbor. I’m here to help you get clear about what those ideals and priorities are for you so that you can move forward with an education decision where you feel confident and at peace.

Our society is moving at an incredible pace and it’s impossible for us to know exactly what the future will hold. The educational decisions we make for our children have a lasting impact on their future. And although these decisions are important, they don’t have to be stressful. As your Education Consultant, I will provide the guidance you need to make these choices with peace of mind.
How Triangle School Consulting Began
When I was just five years old, I knew I wanted to grow up and have a career in education. I have always been drawn to teaching and helping others and I ultimately received my Masters of Social Work where I spent 14 years working in various educational fields. I have worked with all types of children, supporting their academic growth and enhancing their social and emotional lives. My career experience has included managing educational programs, working in the public school system, and creating and delivering various curricula to both children and adults.
And then I became a parent. I began a quest to learn about every educational method possible, to weigh the options and wade through the research- all to find the perfect educational philosophy for me and my child. And all along the way, I’ve met hundreds of parents who essentially want the same thing: a great education for their child. I’ve had countless conversations with parents who are:
- Overwhelmed with choices
- Wanting the best for their child but who don’t know where to start
- Unsatisfied with their current educational situation but don’t know what else to do
And so began Triangle School Consulting. As an experienced professional in the field and fellow mom who’s passionate about her children’s education, I founded Triangle School Consulting to help parents just like you. To give you the tools and knowledge you need for this journey and to help you feel confident in the education decisions you ultimately make. The Triangle area offers countless opportunities for your child aside from your zoned public school. Whether you’re interested in magnet schools, charter schools, or independent schools, navigating the school choice process does not have to be overwhelming and stressful.
